What you can count on, and what we will never do
Treatment abroad needs trust. These are the rules we run MedAmia by.
A doctor signs off, by name
Before you see a shortlist, a clinical reviewer reviews your records and records a decision under their own name. Software can help sort your case, but it never decides what you are shown.
Hospitals we have checked
Hospitals and doctors join our network only after we record their accreditation and licences, and we keep those records up to date. Each profile shows what we hold.
Your privacy comes first
Hospitals quote from a de-identified summary: no name, no contact details. Your records and identity are shared only with the hospital you choose, and even then only the details they need. Medical files are encrypted.
One price, itemised
Your package lists what is included and what is not. You pay MedAmia, in one place, and we pay the hospital and the other providers. If extra days or services are needed, we ask you to approve them before they count.
Refunds stated up front
Every quote states its refund policy for the advance (full, partial or none) before you pay. Nothing is hidden in the small print.
Honest about outcomes
We do not promise results. We tell you what we know, what we do not, and what your doctor will decide. We also track patient outcomes, so we can improve who we recommend.
What we will never do
- Send your case to a hospital before a doctor has reviewed it.
- Rank hospitals by what they pay us.
- Ask you to pay several different vendors.
- Guarantee a medical result.
- Sell your personal or health information.
Your data, your choice
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold, and to withdraw consent. Read our privacy notice or contact us.

Tell us about your case. It is free, and a doctor reviews it before anything is sent to a hospital.
